Majorda Beach – The All Rounder Beach of Fun
Majorda Beach is a popular beach with a lot of happening spots within. Just 12kms away from the major airport of Dabolim, Majorda Beach Goa is a place having a really good historic touch. Lord Rama was believed to be kidnapped and brought up at Majorda according to some historic books.
Places that house intricately prepared Kashmiri handicrafts and detailed wooden carvings with Goan jewelries to showcase are available here for pretty reasonable rates. There are good numbers of resorts near Majorda Beach in Goa which are worth visiting as well.
Apart from that the major attractions include Goa Christmas Carnival every winter held on this beach. The beach looks fully decorated and fledged with liveliness during this whole time.
Mae De Deus Church is another appeal of the place which is more than decades old. Found in 1588 A.D this church stood for more than a century and was again rebuilt after a major demolition in the year 1739. Other activities that can be considered once you start planning would be jet skiing, para-sailing, or simply hiring up a beach shack and relaxing on your back with a book or a good massage. Majorda Beach has a key accumulation of white gulls which are also a treat for eyes.
